Here's what people who have seen or hired us to perform have to say:

Hi!  I heard wonderful praise both for your performance, and for the uplifted spirit it gave my mother. She was actually released yesterday and was flown to Kentucky. Thank you for creating a wonderful memory for our family.  You can be sure I will be telling people great things about your group !  - Judith Bernhard 1/31/12

Bogmeister's Charter Show A Hit!

On October 23, 2010, the Bogmeisters put on their charter show, "A Tribute To Irving Berlin" at the Pine Richland Middle School. The featured performers included the international caliber quartet 'Park Avenue' from Ohio, Pine Richland's own 'Mixed Choral Ensemble' and the 'Sharp Edge' quartet. It was a fine night of singing and entertainment. The Bogmeisters wish to thank their guests and patrons for making it an exciting and rewarding evening.

Irish Cabaret - March 2010

The Bogmeisters we're proud to take part in an "Irish Cabaret, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Metro Chapter "Steel City Harmonizers". The event was held at Boyd Community Center in the Fox Chapel Area. The cabaret featured several quartets from the area. There was plenty of food and drink on hand, and a good time was had by all. Our thanks and appreciation goes out to the Steel City Harmonizers for their hospitality.

Mission Vison "Cranberry Days of Caring" Project - October 2009

On Friday, October 2nd the Bogmeisters went out in support of the "Cranberry Days of Caring". Our community service project was the repair of used eyeglasses for use by an eye doctor who is going to Ghana to help people there with vision problems. He'll do surgeries, and also test people's eyes to see if they need glasses. If they do, he'll give them prescription glasses that are appropriate for their vision needs. We repaired (aligned and cleaned and recorded the lens powers of hundreds of glasses during our four hours of service time.  - from The Aiello Adventure

Penn's Colony Festival - September 2009

The last two weeks of September found the Bogmeister chorus setting up shop at the Penn's Colony Festival in Saxonburg, PA. It's like a village of shoppes where people have colonial items and all the vendors (including us) dress in colonial garb.

We were fortunate to be asked to take over a small permanent hut called the "Turkey Foot Inn". We sold smoked turkey drumsticks for $5 a piece. Also on our menu were beef sticks (cheesy, hot and regular beef), we sold three varieties of cheese (smoked swiss, smoked cheddar, and a Kojak. We had root beer, mulled and cold cider and bottled water.

This was all done to raise money to purchase music, uniform parts and accessories, and for advertising. This will go a long way to help us stay solvent as we share our gift of music with the community. Plus it was lots of fun. - exceprts from The Aiello Adventure
