Come out and join in the fun
The Greater Cranberry Chapter Bogmeisters Chorus is a part of the Barbershop Harmony Society which is the world’s largest male a cappella singing organization with approximately 26,000 members in the US and Canada plus affiliates in nine other countries. We sing barbershop style music for recreation, performance and in competitions. We welcome new singers young and old who love the fun and challenge of a cappella singing. Even if you can't read music, we'll teach you how to put a song in your heart and smiles on people's faces and joy in their hearts through music. The first time you "ring a chord" in 4-part close harmony, you'll feel chills running down your spine. There's nothing like it.
The goal of the Bogmeisters Chorus is to preserve the original American artform of barbershop harmony and we work very hard at trying to perfect the wonderful close harmony that is uniquely it's own. Along with preserving the "old songs" we also sing songs from the Great American Song Book, some oldies, songs from the Big Band Era, Country Music and sometimes even some Rock n' Roll. We also have a repertoire of patriotic tunes and have sung the National Anthem for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Butler Blue Sox. We have something for everyone and every age.
Does that sound fun? Well then come out to a rehearsal any Monday night at 7PM at the Mars Alliance Church on Route 228 in Mars. We rehearse until 9:30 PM and then sometimes we even head over to the Double Wide Grill for a quick pop and to sing a little more. If you love singing and are looking for a fun group to sing with you have found the right place, can’t wait to see you.
Are you looking for entertainment?
We love to entertain and we perform year round throughout our community. We also have quartets who personally deliver Singing Valentines and Singing Mother's Day telegrams and can even do special requests for birthdays and anniversaries.
We are available to sing for events, fairs, festivals, corporate functions, parties, banquets, anniversaries, open houses and other special occasions and we even offer an entire holiday repertoire for holiday gatherings and events.
We're booked for some great performances in 2016 so come out and see us or better yet, join us on Monday nights and sing with us!

We’re proud of our member David Brooks (pictured center left) who auditioned for his high school quartet in the South Butler School District and got the lead for the second year in a row. We’re so happy to have him as a part of the Bogmeisters. If you recognize his last name, that’s right, he’s our new director Ron Brooks’ son. We see the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
